Invesco India Large & Mid Cap Fund

NSW RANK – 3

For April 2026

Category : Large & Mid Cap Equity Scheme

Who should Invest?

Invesco India Large & Mid Cap Fund is best suited for “ Growth seekers”. The fund follows a more bottom-up approach to portfolio construction, investing early in companies with strong earnings momentum. The fund is more focused on midcaps; beyond the mandatory 35% allocation, the fund manager allocates the remaining 30% to midcaps. Since the fund has a greater leaning towards midcaps, it has the capacity to generate much higher returns above the benchmark during market ups. Still, similar returns are affected more when the market is in a downward trend. The scheme is ideal for investors with a 5- to 7-year horizon and a more risk-taking attitude.

Many investors mistakenly believe that a lower NAV during the NFO stage makes the fund cheaper. In reality, NAV alone does not determine the value of an investment. What truly matters is the investment strategy, the fund manager’s expertise, and the quality of the portfolio being created. ( READ MORE)
